The Punisher 2099 #1

Punisher in the future!

The future has arrived, but world peace certainly hasn’t! In fact, with the streets of Nueva York more crime-ridden than ever, who will rise up to defend the vulnerable population from the corruption? Looks like it’s up to Punisher 2099 to clean up the block – the only question is, who’s behind the mask?

Don’t miss out on your glimpse into the future from rising stars, LONNIE NADLER & ZAC THOMPSON (Age of X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy Annual)!

Why its on our radar

We loved the 2099 series as a kid. was a great read, and the OG covers were awesome. That tech design was pretty cool. Some were colorful and just really caught your eye. Hopefully they bring back the nostalgia, and provide some solid stories

New Mutants #2

The newer Mutants...

The classic New Mutants (Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Mirage, Karma, Magik, and Cypher) get together with a few new friends in Chamber and Mondo.  They’re the next generation of mutants and they’re ready to claim their future now… so what better way to do that than a mission to the stars alongside the Starjammers!?

Why We Chose It

Possible new appearance of new mutants to join the team, but we will see what happens. overall this is just a fun book to pick up. worth spending a few bucks

Batman Beyond #38

After all these years, Derek Powers, long thought dead, returns! The lethal villain who now goes by the name Blight is back to terrorize Neo-Gotham while he hunts down Bruce Wayne! With Terry McGinnis wanted by the police and on the run, the only person who can stop him is Batwoman! But how do you stop a walking nuclear reactor when you barely know how to use your own high-tech suit?

Why It Made The Cut

Continuation after #36 and 37 where terry seems to have fallen off the map and the appearance of a new batwoman has appeared, in this book,we will see who this masked woman really is! should be a great comic to pick up.

Swamp Thing Giant #2

includes two new stories:

* “Everything Eats, Everything Dies,” written by Mark Russell with art by Marco Santucci

Swamp Thing scours the bayou when an old friend goes missing, but all the while, an unexpected enemy is coming for Swamp Thing himself…

* “The Winter Quarters,” written by Phil Hester with art by Tom Mandrake

To save a kidnapped boy, Swamp Thing must break in to a mysteriously abandoned circus yard. But the real trick will be getting out again…

  Plus, these reprint tales:

* “A Walk Among the Tombstones,” from SWAMP THING #2

* “The Poison Truth part two,” from THE HELLBLAZER #2

* “Fuseli’s Nightmare,” from ZATANNA #2

Why we chose it

It includes a few different books all wrapped in one, but the cover is different that the last run. With swamp thing being hot with all the DC Controversy and the show that was cancelled, swamp thing is hot and is being talked about. Thats a good thing.
