Why its on our radar

We loved the 2099 series as a kid. was a great read, and the Original covers were awesome. The tech design was pretty cool. Some were colorful and just really caught your eye. Hopefully they bring back the nostalgia, and provide some solid stories. With the hype behind Venom Right now whats stopping ya from picking this up?

X-Men #3

The newer Mutants...

The most powerful heroes of the dominant species on the planet, the X-Men rise to protect the world against any threat. From a new foe in the Savage Land to an old nemesis’ surprising return…

Why We Chose It

The X-men series is interesting to say the least. This series is still carrying that forward momentum as marvel aims to create more and more xmen to incorporate. Sounds like a new villain may be unvieled in this issue.

New Years Evil #1

Why hello there, readers! It’s your Uncle Joker letting you know that this year’s DC winter holiday special is not for the good guys. It’s all about the folks on Santa’s naughty list! Folks like me, Sinestro, Toyman, Harley Quinn, and even an appearance from that timely rascal the Calendar Man. Come sledding with your favorite villains in 10 fantastic tales created by comics’ finest talents. They’re not as funny as me, mind you, but it’s important that we be charitable this time of year.

Why It Made The Cut

Sounds like this will be an all around fun series. how exciting to get mini stories instead of a full complicated mass of craziness? (were just kidding) but anyways this will be a cool holiday oriented book. Hopefully not to dark for the kiddos.

Annihlation Scourge: Nova #1

Nova Returns in the scourge

The universe hangs in peril! With no room for old grudges, Nova is forced to team up with one of his most nefarious adversaries – ANNIHILUS! But can Richard Rider trust the ruler of the Negative Zone to fight alongside him – or will this turn into a war with two fronts?

Why we chose it

Nova is a great hero and the comic sounds like it will be great. Theres something awesome about this series though. Marvel doesnt think it will sell well. Hence the print run will not be high. TO mention there is also only currently one variant of this. so they arent really putting to many eggs in the basket on this one. Worth picking up one or two to hang onto for a while. When the movie drops the cover price may change.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1

The Crossover you've all been waiting for!

* The Power Rangers arrive in New York City to find Tommy Oliver (a.k.a. The Mighty Morphin Green Ranger) but soon discover he’s joined forces with the villainous Shredder and the Foot Clan!

* As the Rangers are sent reeling by this betrayal, they ‘re confronted by another (fr)enemy… the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Can these heroes find a way to work together to defeat the bad guys and save the world from total destruction?!

* Written by Ryan Parrott (Power Rangers: Necessary Evil) and illustrated by Simone di Meo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Venom Annual)

Why We chose it

For two major reasons. First, there are alot of fan boys that think this is super overdue. (who doesnt love crossovers ) and second, There is a one per store Variant Cover (shown on the right)

So this comic will be hot hot hot…. assuming the store will let you buy it .
